Mitchell Parsons hits a goal as Grandville effective on defense to win on the road

Both defenses were solid, but Grandville handed a loss to GR Forest Hills Central 2 - 1 at Patterson Ice Arena on Saturday. Both teams were scoreless in the first period. Grandville took the lead in the second period with one goal. Both teams scored one goal in the third period but Grandville kept the lead for the win.

Mitchell Parsons and Matt Shultz each added one goal for Grandville. Fischer, Houtman, Kellogg, and Rozema each contributed one assist for Grandville.

Showing off a strong glove, Grandville's Sean Schmeiser finished with 15 saves to get the win.

Grandville continued their current win streak of three games and now has a record of 8 wins and 7 losses. GR Forest Hills Central finished the game with a record of 2-4.
