Kevin Hansen nets two goals while Petoskey effective on defense to win

Petoskey prevailed over TDB 4 - 1 on Saturday. Petoskey scored one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the second, Petoskey outscored TDB three to one and kept the lead. TDB's fate was sealed. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Petoskey held on to its lead, and was the winner.

In the first period, Petoskey's Kevin Hansen got a goal with an assist from Aaron Cook, with 1:26 left in the period. This put Petoskey out in front for good. In the second period, Petoskey kept going when Aaron Cook scored a goal with 13:05 left in the period. Cam Ludlow assisted on the goal, to go further ahead. TDB responded when TDB scored a goal. Charging back, Petoskey's Skye Pieffer got the puck in the goal with 10:59 left in the period. Tanner Davis got the assist on the goal, to get further in the lead. Keeping up the pressure, Kevin Hansen netted a goal with assists from Tanner Davis and Ken Forton with 4:13 left on the clock, moving further into the lead.

Having a good day, Kevin Hansen got two goals for Petoskey. Aaron Cook made one goal for Petoskey and also had one point. Skye Pieffer added one goal for Petoskey. Tanner Davis earned two helpers. Forton and Ludlow each contributed one assist for Petoskey.

In the crease, Petoskey's Michael Whittaker blocked no shots to take the win.

Adding to their victory, Petoskey was 1-for-3 on power plays. TDB was 0-for-3.

Petoskey extended their winning streak to four games and now has a record of 10-6. TDB finished the game with a record of 0-4.
