As the second period unfolded, Ann Arbor Skyline outscored their opponents by two goals and took away the lead. Ann Arbor Skyline's defense shut down Macomb Luthern North for the rest of the game. In the final period Ann Arbor Skyline scored two unanswered goals adding to their overall lead and winning the game.

Showing off a strong stick, Yishai Ribon got the hat trick with five goals. Paving the way for Ann Arbor Skyline, Ribon put the puck between the pipes with 12:54 left in the second period with assists from Sam Stevens and Dillon Baker.
