Yishai Ribon knocks the hat trick, Ann Arbor Skyline goes on the defensive to win

Ann Arbor Skyline beat Macomb Luthern North 5 - 2 at Yost Arena on Wednesday. Macomb Luthern North tallied up one goal to take the lead in the first period. As the second period unfolded, Ann Arbor Skyline outscored their opponents by two goals and took away the lead. Ann Arbor Skyline's defense shut down Macomb Luthern North for the rest of the game. In the final period Ann Arbor Skyline scored two unanswered goals adding to their overall lead and winning the game.

Showing off a strong stick, Yishai Ribon got the hat trick with five goals. Paving the way for Ann Arbor Skyline, Ribon put the puck between the pipes with 12:54 left in the second period with assists from Sam Stevens and Dillon Baker. Pushing forward, Ann Arbor Skyline's Ribon scored another goal with 6:52 left in the second period. Blake Hill and Dillon Baker assisted on this goal. Ann Arbor Skyline kept up the momentum when Ribon put the biscuit into the net with 6:46 left in the second period. Blake Hill and Dillon Baker got the assists on this goal. During the third period, with 15:07 left Ribon put the biscuit into the net. Noah Wegryn and Dillon Baker assisted on this goal. During the third period, with 2:56 left Ribon lit the lamp with an assist from Josh Bourque.

Having a huge impact in the game, Ann Arbor Skyline's Ethan Hiltner finished with 32 saves for the win. Macomb Luthern North's Kobe Kebbe had only 35 saves on 40 shots on goal to suffer the loss.
