Sault Ste Marie shuts down shooters to win and prevent opponents from scoring

Shutting out the competition, Sault Ste Marie beat Traverse City West 4 - zero at Pullar on Thursday. Sault Ste Marie racked up two goals to take the lead in the first period. Sault Ste Marie gained one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. Sault Ste Marie never looked back. In the final period Sault Ste Marie scored one goal padding its lead and winning the game.

Despite racking up saves in the box, Traverse City West's Carter Edmondson finished with 42 saves and so suffered the loss.

Sault Ste Marie added to their current win streak of six games and ended up with a unblemished record of 7-0. Traverse City West ended the game with a record of 9-13.
