Shutting out their opponents, Escanaba Eskymos was superior against Negaunee Miners 8 - zero at Negaunee Ice Arena on Monday. Escanaba Eskymos chalked up five straight goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Escanaba Eskymos added two unanswered goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Escanaba Eskymos never looked back. In the final period Escanaba Eskymos scored one goal piling on and winning the game.

In an excellent performance, Levi Wunder made two goals for Escanaba Eskymos and also two points. Escanaba Eskymos's TJ Myrick scored two goals for Escanaba Eskymos. Hunter Lamarch, Charlie Zuidema, Jake Eastin, and Ben Lasecki each contributed one goal for Escanaba Eskymos.
