Zach Hill rips two goals while Traverse City St. Francis scores game winning goal in overtime to prevail on the road

In overtime, Traverse City St. Francis defeated Traverse City West 5 - 4 at Howe Arena on Tuesday. Both teams were scoreless in the first period. In the middle period, the offenses finally got going when Traverse City West outscored Traverse City St. Francis four to two and took the lead. Traverse City West was on top four to two, with Traverse City St. Francis's work cut out for them in the third period. Rallying, Traverse City St. Francis went to work and evened up the score in the third period with two consecutive goals sending the game into OT. In the overtime, Traverse City St. Francis scored one unanswered goal to win the tough game.

In well played offense, Zach Hill got two goals for Traverse City St. Francis and also two assists. Trevor Apsey, Nate Wilson, and Nick Sicinski each contributed one goal for Traverse City St. Francis.

Traverse City St. Francis's Jay Jones stopped 18 out of 22 shots to earn the win.

Traverse City St. Francis added to their current win streak of three games and ended the game with a record of 13 wins and 13 losses. Traverse City West ended the game with a record of 9-14.
