Jordan Stross shoots two goals and Lake Orion clamps down to win a close game

Jordan Stross netted the game winner with 11:13 left in the second period, as Lake Orion prevailed over Clarkston 5 - 3 at Detroit Skate Club Rink C on Tuesday. Lake Orion and Clarkston both scored one goal to end the first period tied. In the second, Lake Orion scored four goals to Clarkston's one and took the lead. Clarkston added one goal in the third period but it was not enough to win the game.

Lake Orion's Jordan Stross made two goals for Lake Orion and also had one point. During the second period, Stross put the biscuit over the goal line with an assist from Ben Bock. This sealed Lake Orion's victory. Rolling on, Lake Orion's Stross netted a power play goal in the second period. Alex Giwa assisted on this goal. Lake Orion's Jake Briskey made two goals for Lake Orion. Lake Orion's Briskey put the biscuit into the net in the first period with an assist from Drew Casey. Next, Briskey put the puck between the pipes for a power play goal in the second period. Jordan Stross assisted on this goal. Drew Casey tallied one goal for Lake Orion.

Showing a super performance, Lake Orion's Logan Aldrich turned away 31 shots to earn the win.

Lake Orion ended up with a record of 10-11. Clarkston ended the game with a record of 12 wins and 12 losses.
