Levi Wunder knocks the hat trick as Escanaba Eskymos shuts down shooters to get the shutout win

In a shutout, Escanaba Eskymos finished off Marquette Redmen 8 - zip at Lakeview Arena on Thursday. Escanaba Eskymos tallied up four goals to take the lead in the first period. Escanaba Eskymos added one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. It would prove to be too much for Marquette Redmen. In the final period Escanaba Eskymos scored three goals adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

Showing strong scoring ability, Levi Wunder got the hat trick with three goals and also had one assist. Escanaba Eskymos's Nick Vandermissen made two goals for Escanaba Eskymos. TJ Myrick, Steve Wood, and Jake Eastin each tallied one goal for Escanaba Eskymos.

Turning in a perfect performance, Escanaba Eskymos's Nick LeMire blocked 24 out of 24 shots on goal to gain the win. Marquette Redmen's Evan Kyle had only 19 saves on 27 shots on goal for the loss.

Escanaba Eskymos continued their current win streak of 13 games and ended up with a record of 24 wins and 3 losses. Marquette Redmen ended the game with a record of 0-9.
