Grosse Pointe South was superior against Rochester Stoney Creek 5 - 2 on Saturday. Grosse Pointe South racked up two unanswered goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Both teams added one goal in the second period but Grosse Pointe South held on to the lead for the win. In the last period, Grosse Pointe South outscored Rochester Stoney Creek two to one and kept the lead to win the game.

Rochester Stoney Creek's Maxx Grant had only 25 saves on 30 shots on goal and so suffered the loss.
