In a blowout game, Livonia Stevenson defeated Saginaw Heritage 10 - 2 at Compuware on Thursday. Livonia Stevenson tallied up five goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the second, Livonia Stevenson outscored Saginaw Heritage four to two and kept the lead. The Livonia Stevenson defense took over in the final period. In the final period Livonia Stevenson scored one goal padding its lead and winning the game.
Leading the scoring for Livonia Stevenson, Tyler Irvine got the hat trick with four goals and also had one point. In well played offense, Travis Harvey made two goals for Livonia Stevenson as well as two assists. Ben Kowalske, Dominic Lutz, Devin Kelly, and Blake Battjes each tallied one goal for Livonia Stevenson.
Livonia Stevenson's Connor Humitz blocked 12 out of 14 shots on goal to get the win.
Livonia Stevenson added to their current win streak of seven games and now has a record of 22-7. Saginaw Heritage finished the game with a record of 10-3.
