FHNE beats #7 state ranked Utica Eisenhower in Div. 1 with final score 6-2. FHNE was led offensively by Chase Lebster and Nate Nickelson with 2 goals apiece and Wyatt Radakovitz with 4 assists. Josh Boverhof scored the game winning goal and added an assist. Ian Famulak scored the other FHNE goal and seniors Matt Bageris and Noah Cottrell pitched in with 2 assists each. Senior goalie Ty Kitchen from FHNE had another solid effort stopping 35 of 37 Utica IKE shots. “It was a great team effort – really proud of the way our guys stepped up and battled against one of the top D1 teams in the state” commented FHNE Coach Tom Bissett. FHNE plays rival EGR next Friday 2/12 at Patterson (8pm start) and then battles GR Catholic Central (ranked #1 in Div. 3) on Saturday at Southside Arena (2pm) start.
