Rangers Defeat Rockets 3-2 In An OK Conference Tier 1 Tilt

In an OK Conference Tier 1 tilt, first place Forest Hills Central traveled to LC Walker Arena to take on second place Muskegon Reeths Puffer.

Reeths Puffer would strike first as Connor Weesies beat FHC netminder Carl Mielock for the lone goal in the 1st period. Forest Hills Central would battle back in the 2nd period scoring 3-goals in a 37-second span.

Nicko Withey would score the first goal with assists going to Jack Bowling and Zak Currie. 12 seconds later Jack Bowling would put the Rangers ahead 2-1 with assists coming from Zak Currie and Nicko Withey. 25 seconds later Connor Foresman would score the eventual game winner after two beautiful passes from Charlie Brewer and Jesse Hall. FHC would enter the second intermission up 3-1.

Reeths Puffer would not go away as Nate Sullivan beat Ranger Netminder Carl Mielock making the score 3-2 midway in the 3rd period. Assists went to Chase Mastella and Quinn Fowler. FHC would hold off Reeths Puffers late surge for a 3-2 victory in a tough battle of OK Conference Tier 1 foes.

Forest Hills Central improves to 12-1-1 on the season and 6-0 in Tier 1 Conference play. Carl Mielock made 26 saves earning the victory with Reeths Puffer netminder Colten Koopman also playing well making 32 saves.
