After an emotional 4-3 overtime victory over rival Grand Rapids Catholic Central in the Pre-Regional Final the Rangers of Forest Hills Central looked to keep their momentum going as they advanced on to their 3rd consecutive Regional Final.

The Rangers were Regional Champs in 2015 and were looking to add another piece of hardware to their collection this season after winning the OK Tier 1 Conference Championship a few weeks ago.

Jackson Lumen Christi came out flying controlling the game early on until Nicko Withey would one time a pass from Zak Currie beating Brogan Sullivan for a 1-0 Ranger lead. Less then a minute later Charlie Brewer would extend the lead to 2-0 firing a shot past a sprawling goalie after being set up by Jacob Demeter and Connor Foresman.

The Rangers would extend their lead in the 2nd period as Zak Currie would score an unassisted goal for a 3-0 lead after 2-periods.

Jack Bowling would add an insurance goal early in the 3rd period after taking a pass from Nick Sarjeant to seal the victory for the Rangers. Carl Mielock played a fantastic game stopping all 30 shots and earning the shutout. With the win the Rangers improve to 24-2-2 and earn a rematch with Flint Powers Catholic in the State Quarter Finals.
