Registration for Team Michigan Tryouts Opens This Week on November 22nd
Team Michigan represents the top high school players in the state at the annual CCM NIT in Minnesota. Since its start, the program has grown from a single Senior team to a full program available to players in ALL grades.
Current Michigan high school hockey players
Players in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade
The journey starts at Satellite Camps held in regions across the state. From there:
Camp locations: Gaylord, Grand Rapids, Livonia
Top performers are invited to the Team Michigan Festival
The best Seniors, Juniors, and Underclassmen from each satellite camp compete in a weekend long event in front of coaches, scouts, and evaluators
From this festival, final rosters are selected for the Minnesota trip
Being invited to the Team Michigan Festival is a tremendous honor on its own, and it signals that a player is among the top high school skaters in Michigan at their age group.
Selected teams gather for a training camp, where they practice, learn new concepts, and prepare to represent Michigan: April 17th - 19th
Teams then travel to Minnesota to compete against some of the best high school talent in the country: April 23rd - 26th
