EAST LANSING - Long time downriver coach Skip Howey becomes the 32nd member of the Michigan High School Hockey Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Skip began his coaching in the mid 80's at Riverview Gabriel Richard. After that he became the coach of Trenton High School from the mid-80's to mid 90's. After stepping away to coach his son Skip came back to coaching High School where he coached Grosse Ile High School from 2005 to 2011.

Skip's team were always outstanding on and off the ice, doing an outstanding job of representing High School hockey at all times!
