In a hard fought match up, Cadillac beat Big Rapids 3 - 1 at FSU on Wednesday. Big Rapids chalked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Cadillac took over the lead in the second period with two straight goals. Cadillac's defense shut down Big Rapids for the rest of the game. In the final period Cadillac scored one goal improving its score and winning the game.
Tyler Thomas netted one goal for Cadillac and also had one point. Patrick Briggs and Daniel Gischia each added one goal for Cadillac. Graham contributed one assist for Cadillac.
Having a standout day, Cadillac's PJ Nemish had 19 saves to earn the win.
Big Rapids finished the game with a record of 0-2.
