In a shutout, Southgate Anderson prevailed over Monroe St. Mary CC 8 - zip at Southgate on Saturday. Southgate Anderson chalked up five goals to take the lead in the first period. Southgate Anderson added three straight goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Monroe St. Mary CC were not able to answer back. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Southgate Anderson protected its lead, and was the winner.

Two goaltenders were used by Monroe St. Mary CC for the loss. Monroe St. Mary CC's Derek Hughes had just 14 saves on 19 shots. Struggling in the goal, Monroe St. Mary CC's Joseph Qualey stopped two shots and so suffered the loss.

Southgate Anderson continued their current win streak of two games and ended up with a unblemished record of 4-0. Monroe St. Mary CC finished the game with a record of 3-3.
