Ross EVOY slams a hat trick and Ann Arbor Huron SEC scores go ahead goal in overtime to win in the end, stops streak of losses

In overtime, Ann Arbor Huron SEC overcame Chippewa Valley 6 - 5 at Great Lakes Sport City on Saturday. Ann Arbor Huron SEC racked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. In the second period, Chippewa Valley outscored Ann Arbor Huron SEC four to two and took the lead. Chippewa Valley was up four to three, but this advantage would soon fade. In the third, Ann Arbor Huron SEC scored two goal to Chippewa Valley's 1 and tied for the lead sending the game into overtime. In the overtime, Ann Arbor Huron SEC scored one unanswered goal to win the tough game.

Leading the way to a win for Ann Arbor Huron SEC, Ross EVOY made the hat trick with three goals in addition to two points. Michael FICARO, Jordan SILVESTER, and Ellis "Bruiser" FREATMAN each added one goal for Ann Arbor Huron SEC.

Ann Arbor Huron SEC's Eliot SOLBRIG had just 15 saves on 20 shots to get the win.

Adding to their victory, Ann Arbor Huron SEC was 3-for-5 on power plays. Chippewa Valley was 0-for-2.
