Ross EVOY connects for a hat trick as Ann Arbor Huron Metro scores game winner in overtime to finish ahead, ends string of losses

In overtime, Ann Arbor Huron Metro beat Chippewa Valley 6 - 5 at Great Lakes Sport City on Saturday. Ann Arbor Huron Metro tallied up one unanswered goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the second, Chippewa Valley outscored their opponents by two goals and took the lead. Chippewa Valley was on top four to three, but there was a lot more game to be played. In the third period, Ann Arbor Huron Metro outscored their opponents by one goal and tied for the lead sending the game into overtime. In the overtime, Ann Arbor Huron Metro scored one unanswered goal to win in the end.

Leading the way to a win for Ann Arbor Huron Metro, Ross EVOY made the hat trick with three goals as well as two helpers. Michael FICARO, Jordan SILVESTER, and Ellis "Bruiser" FREATMAN each contributed one goal for Ann Arbor Huron Metro.

Ann Arbor Huron Metro's Eliot SOLBRIG had only 15 saves on 20 shots on goal to earn the win.

Adding to their victory, Ann Arbor Huron Metro was 3-for-5 on power plays. Chippewa Valley went 0-for-2.
