In a come from behind game, Freeland/Nouvel/Valley beat Goodrich 7 - 6 at Polar Palace on Saturday. Freeland/Nouvel/Valley and Goodrich both scored two goals to end the first period tied. In the middle period, Goodrich outscored Freeland/Nouvel/Valley four to two and took the lead. Goodrich was on top six to four, and things appeared to be going well. Freeland/Nouvel/Valley managed to come back with three unanswered goals in the third period to steal the lead and win the game.

Leading the scoring for Freeland/Nouvel/Valley, Josh Koepplinger netted the hat trick with four goals and also had one helper. Ben Rybicki added one goal for Freeland/Nouvel/Valley.

Two goaltenders were used by Freeland/Nouvel/Valley to get the win. Freeland/Nouvel/Valley's Andre Danek stopped 14 shots. Freeland/Nouvel/Valley's Brandon Hausbeck made eight saves to gain the win.

This was the first game for Goodrich.
