Pat Rogowski smashes a hat trick as Pinckney strong on the ice to get the victory

Pinckney beat Walled Lake Western 6 - 1 at KVIH on Wednesday. Pinckney racked up one unanswered goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the second period, Pinckney outscored Walled Lake Western three to one and kept the lead. Pinckney never looked back. In the final period Pinckney scored two consecutive goals sealing the deal and winning the game.

Showing strong scoring ability, Pat Rogowski got the hat trick with three goals in addition to two points. Putting their initial points on the board, Rogowski scored a goal in the second period with assists from Cooper Jenkins and Nolan Lefebvre. Continuing their roll, Rogowski Rogowski scored an unassisted shorthanded goal. Continuing their roll, Rogowski netted a power play goal in the third period with assists from Cooper Jenkins and Nolan Lefebvre. Cody Nikkila tallied one goal for Pinckney.

Two goaltenders were used by Pinckney to get the win. Having a huge impact in the game, Pinckney's Justin Karamon stopped 25 out of 26 shots to take the win. Leading the way to a shutout for Pinckney, Shane Polich had three saves on three shots.

Pinckney extended their winning streak to four games and ended the game with a record of 5 wins and 2 losses. Walled Lake Western finished the game with a record of 0-2.
