Trent Bravata shoots two goals while East Kentwood strong on D to win handily on the road

In a blowout game, East Kentwood beat GR West Catholic 8 - 1 at Griffs Ice House on Wednesday. East Kentwood chalked up three goals to take the lead in the first period. In the middle period, East Kentwood outscored their opponents by one goal and kept the lead. East Kentwood never looked back. In the final period East Kentwood scored three goals cementing the lead and winning the game.

East Kentwood's Trent Bravata made two goals for East Kentwood. During the first period, Bravata netted a goal. Walker Aurand got the assist on this goal. East Kentwood was ahead from then on. During the third period, Bravata put the puck in the net. Austin Adams and Adam Goudelock assisted on this goal. East Kentwood's Alex Birkman made two goals for East Kentwood. East Kentwood's Birkman put the biscuit into the net in the first period with assists from Adam Goudelock and Cam Morris. Next, Birkman netted another goal in the third period. Tyler Layle assisted on this goal. Blake Hinds, Kevin Seo, Tyler Layle, and Austin Adams each contributed one goal for East Kentwood.

Having a huge impact in the game, East Kentwood's Sarah White had 19 saves to take the win.

East Kentwood went 1-for-4 on power plays. GR West Catholic went 0-for-8.

East Kentwood added to their current win streak of two games and now has a record of 5-1. GR West Catholic ended the game with a record of 0-2.
