Shutting out the competition, Royal Oak Shrine Catholic defeated Macomb Luthern North 8 - 0 at Lindell Arena on Friday. Royal Oak Shrine Catholic scored four goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Royal Oak Shrine Catholic added two straight goals in the second period and held on to its lead. The Royal Oak Shrine Catholic defense took over in the final period. In the final period Royal Oak Shrine Catholic scored two goals sealing the deal and winning the game.

Having an outstanding day for Royal Oak Shrine Catholic, Ryan Bradley netted the hat trick with four goals and also had one helper. Tommy Callanan and Michael Mann each added one goal for Royal Oak Shrine Catholic.

Turning in a perfect performance, Royal Oak Shrine Catholic's Hugo Stange had 22 saves on 22 shots to earn the win.

This was the season's first game for Macomb Luthern North but Royal Oak Shrine Catholic entered the game with a record of 7-0.
