Noah Szenderski leads the way with two goals as Temperance Bedford shines on defense to get the win

Temperance Bedford was superior against Toledo St. Francis OH 4 - 1 at Tam-O-Shanter (Sylvania) on Friday. Temperance Bedford outscored Toledo St. Francis OH three to one to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. Temperance Bedford added one unanswered goal in the second period and held on to its lead. Temperance Bedford never looked back. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Temperance Bedford protected its lead, and was the winner.

In the first period, Temperance Bedford's Noah Szenderski put the puck between the pipes with 14:20 left on the clock. Jacob Ansara assisted on the goal. Temperance Bedford was in control from then on. Temperance Bedford brushed off the penalty kill when Kyle Kuhr put the puck in the net with an assist from Adam Glick with 6:48 left in the period, to get further in the lead. Pushing back, Toledo St. Francis OH's Toledo St. Francis OH scored a goal. Temperance Bedford pushed back when Michael Pisanti netted a goal with 2:54 left on the clock. Kyle Kuhr got the assist on the goal, going further ahead. In the second period, applying penalty kill pressure, Noah Szenderski netted a goal with an assist from Kyle Kuhr with 11:46 left in the period, to go further ahead.

Having an impact in the game, Noah Szenderski scored two goals for Temperance Bedford. Kyle Kuhr scored one goal for Temperance Bedford in addition to two helpers. Michael Pisanti added one goal for Temperance Bedford. Glick and Ansara each tallied one assist for Temperance Bedford.

Showing off a strong glove, Temperance Bedford's Adam Glick stopped 21 out of 22 shots to earn the win.

This was the season's first game for Toledo St. Francis OH but Temperance Bedford entered the game with a record of 2-3.
