Zach Hill gets two goals as Traverse City St. Francis strong on the ice to get the narrow victory, snaps loss streak

In a tight contest, Traverse City St. Francis prevailed against Swan Valley 4 - 2 at Centre Ice Arena on Saturday. Traverse City St. Francis and Swan Valley both scored one goal to end the first period tied. Traverse City St. Francis took the lead in the second period with two goals. Both teams scored one goal in the third period but Traverse City St. Francis kept the lead for the win.

Turning in a good performance, Zach Hill made two goals for Traverse City St. Francis. Nate Wilson netted one goal for Traverse City St. Francis and also had one helper. Nick Sicinski contributed one goal for Traverse City St. Francis. Trevor Apsey had three points. Zack Bargy got two helpers. Hill contributed one assist for Traverse City St. Francis.

Leading the way for Traverse City St. Francis, Jay Jones blocked 19 out of 21 shots on goal to get the win.

This was the first game of the season for Swan Valley but Traverse City St. Francis entered the game with a record of 1-5.
