Sammy Shaheen nets two goals while Macomb Dakota looks to the defense to dominate their opponents, lifts streak of wins to 8 games

In a lopsided victory, Macomb Dakota got the better of Midland 8 - 1 at Mt. Clemens on Saturday. Macomb Dakota tallied up three goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the middle period, Macomb Dakota outscored their opponents by two goals and kept the lead. Macomb Dakota never looked back. In the final period Macomb Dakota scored two goals adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

Macomb Dakota's Sammy Shaheen got two goals for Macomb Dakota. Shaheen put the biscuit over the goal line for a shorthanded goal with an assist from Matt Riehl. Shaheen got a second goal with an assist from Matt Riehl. Macomb Dakota's Ronnie O'Connor got two goals for Macomb Dakota. Getting started, O'Connor put the puck in the net in the second period with assists from Chad Roskelly and Austin Azzopardi. Macomb Dakota fired up their game when O'Connor put the biscuit into the net in the second period with assists from Chad Roskelly and Austin Azzopardi. Matt Riehl, Austin Azzopardi, Billy Karvounis, and Chad Roskelly each added one goal for Macomb Dakota.

Leading the way for Macomb Dakota, Justin Dudzinski turned away 15 shots to gain the win.

Macomb Dakota added to their current win streak of seven games and ended the game with a perfect record of 8-0. Midland suffered their first loss and ended the game with a record of 0 wins and 1 loss.
