Shutting out their opponents, Cadillac prevailed over Big Rapids 4 - zip at Joe Louis Arena - Detroit on Wednesday. Cadillac tallied up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Cadillac gained one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. The Cadillac defense took over in the final period. In the final period Cadillac scored two consecutive goals adding to their overall lead and winning the game.

Patrick Briggs, Spencer Graham, Brett Farley, and Ryan Morse each added one goal for Cadillac.

Having a less than great day in the crease, Cadillac's PJ Nemish got smoked with no saves to get the win.

Big Rapids finished the game with a record of 0-5.
