In overtime, Utica Eisenhower won against Detroit Country Day 4 - 3 at Joe Louis Arena on Wednesday. Detroit Country Day tallied up one goal to take the lead in the first period. In the second period, Utica Eisenhower outscored Detroit Country Day three to one and took away the lead. Detroit Country Day added one goal in the third period to tie the score at three and force the game into overtime. In the overtime, Utica Eisenhower scored one unanswered goal to finally get the win.

Frank Saputo, Marcus Leskiw, Drew Lauer, and Stino Biondo each contributed one goal for Utica Eisenhower.

Two goalies were in the crease for Utica Eisenhower's win. Utica Eisenhower's Austin McArdle stopped 12 out of 15 shots to take the win. Utica Eisenhower's Kenny Stralko stopped six out of seven shots.

Utica Eisenhower added to their current win streak of two games and ended the game with a record of 7 wins and 1 loss. Detroit Country Day suffered their first loss and finished the game with a record of 5-1.
