Swan Valley clamps down to get the victory

Swan Valley was superior against Traverse City St. Francis 7 - 2 at Midland Civic Arena on Friday. Swan Valley outscored Traverse City St. Francis four to one to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Swan Valley retained its lead. In the final period, the offenses finally got going when Swan Valley outscored their opponents by two goals and kept the lead to win the game.

Traverse City St. Francis's Jay Jones had just 13 saves on 20 shots to get the loss.

Swan Valley ended their streak of two losing games and improved to a record of 1 win and 2 losses. Traverse City St. Francis finished the game with a record of 3 wins and 9 losses.
