Macomb Dakota Shuts Out St. Clair Shores Unified 7-0

Billy Karvounis shines with two goals and Macomb Dakota shines on defense to win the shutout, raises win-streak to 12 games

Shutting out the competition, Macomb Dakota prevailed over St. Clair Shores Unified 7 - 0 at Mt. Clemens on Wednesday. Macomb Dakota tallied up three straight goals to take the lead in the first period. Macomb Dakota gained three goals in the second period and held on to its lead. St. Clair Shores Unified were not able to answer back. In the final period Macomb Dakota scored one goal adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

Macomb Dakota's Billy Karvounis netted two goals for Macomb Dakota and also had one helper. During the first period, Karvounis put the biscuit into the net for a power play goal with assists from Marc DiGrande and Brenden White. Adding another score for Macomb Dakota, Karvounis Karvounis put the puck between the pipes with an assist from Anthony Piccirilli. Paul Andary, Austin Azzopardi, Anthony Piccirilli, Marc DiGrande, and Chad Roskelly each added one goal for Macomb Dakota.

Displaying a golden glove, Macomb Dakota's Justin Dudzinski turned away 12 shots for the win.

Macomb Dakota continued their current win streak of 11 games and ended the game with a perfect record of 12-0. St. Clair Shores Unified ended the game with a record of 0 wins and 5 losses.
