Cooper Jenkins nails two goals while Pinckney makes forwards' life difficult to get the win

Pinckney finished off St. Clair Shores Unified 6 - 2 at Ann Arbor Ice Cube on Friday. Pinckney outscored St. Clair Shores Unified three to one to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. Both teams added one goal in the second period but Pinckney kept the lead for the win. St. Clair Shores Unified's fate was sealed. In the final period Pinckney scored two goals sealing the deal and winning the game.

Pinckney's Cooper Jenkins scored two goals for Pinckney. Making it happen on the ice for Pinckney, Jenkins got a goal in the second period with assists from Pat Rogowski and Nick Woodruff. During the third period, Jenkins put the puck between the pipes with assists from Pat Rogowski and Kyle Smith. Michael Salata, Kyle Smith, Cody Nikkila, and Mark Janiga each tallied one goal for Pinckney.

Showing a super performance, Pinckney's Shane Polich stopped 19 out of 21 shots to earn the win.

Pinckney was 1-for-1 on power plays.

Pinckney moves to a record of 8-2. St. Clair Shores Unified finished the game with a record of 0 wins and 6 losses.
