Canton Chiefs outscored Forest Hills Eastern two to one to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Canton Chiefs kept its lead. In the final period, with defenses wearing down, Canton Chiefs scored two goal to Forest Hills Eastern's 1 and kept the lead to win the game.
