Canton Chiefs goes on the defensive to get the narrow victory

Tommy Kiddle scored the game-winning goal with 7:39 left in the third period, as Canton Chiefs beat Forest Hills Eastern 4 - 2 at Arctic Edge on Friday. Canton Chiefs outscored Forest Hills Eastern two to one to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Canton Chiefs kept its lead. In the final period, with defenses wearing down, Canton Chiefs scored two goal to Forest Hills Eastern's 1 and kept the lead to win the game.

In the first period, Canton Chiefs put points on the board when Tommy Kiddle scored a goal with 17:48 left on the clock. Brad Ceci and Cooper Rice assisted on the goal. Canton Chiefs pierced the defense when Christian Flack put the biscuit over the goal line with 14:09 left in the period. Matt Cox and Ian Fagan got the assists on the goal, to go further ahead. . In the third period, in addition, Forest Hills Eastern scored a goal, evening up the score. Answering back on the ice, Canton Chiefs's Tommy Kiddle got a goal with assists from Matt Cox and Christian Flack with 7:39 left in the period, to nab the lead. This cemented Canton Chiefs's win. Canton Chiefs found more success on the ice when Matt Cox scored a goal with 4:06 left on the clock. Tommy Kiddle assisted on the goal, to go further ahead.
