Rockford got the better of GR Forest Hills Central 4 - 1 at Patterson Ice Arena on Saturday. Rockford chalked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Rockford gained one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. In the third period, Rockford outscored GR Forest Hills Central two to one and kept the lead to win the game.
Leading the way to a win for Rockford, Trevor Mills got the hat trick with three goals. Zach Schwandt added one goal for Rockford. Nate Rozegnal made two assists. Erhart, Sokol, and Bathum each tallied one assist for Rockford.
Having a huge impact in the game, Rockford's Todd Millar stopped 19 shots to get the win.
Rockford now has a record of 8-5. GR Forest Hills Central finished the game with a record of 2-2.
