In overtime, Salem defeated Forest Hills Eastern 4 - 3 on Saturday. Salem chalked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Both teams tallied up two goals in the second period but Salem maintained their lead. Forest Hills Eastern added one goal in the third period to tie the score at three and force the game into overtime. In the overtime, Salem scored one unanswered goal nabbing the victory.
Noah Willer, Jake Sealy, and Alek Zultowski each tallied one goal for Salem.
Racking up saves in the box, Salem's Parker Godfrey had 30 saves on 33 shots to get the win.
Contributing to their win, Salem went 2-for-5 on power plays.
Forest Hills Eastern ended the game with a record of 0-5.
