Tyler Polich is leader with two goals as L'Anse shuts down shooters to get a narrow win

Sean Lake netted the game winner with 14:30 left in the third period, as L'Anse defeated Painesdale Jeffers 5 - 3 at meadowbrook arena on Monday. Neither team managed to get the puck in the net in the first period. In the middle period, the offenses finally got going when Painesdale Jeffers outscored L'Anse three to two and took the lead. Painesdale Jeffers was ahead three to two, with L'Anse's work cut out for them in the third period. L'Anse engineered a comeback in the third period with three goals, winning in the end.

In an excellent performance, Tyler Polich made two goals for L'Anse in addition to two helpers. Putting their initial points on the board, Polich lit the lamp without assistance from team mates in the third period. During the third period, Polich got an unassisted empty net goal. L'Anse's Brett Hebert netted two goals for L'Anse. Things got going when L'Anse's Hebert Hebert put the puck between the pipes with an assist from Tyler Polich. Sean Lake contributed one goal for L'Anse.

L'Anse ended their losing streak of three games and ended up with a record of 2 wins and 5 losses. Painesdale Jeffers finished the game with a record of 2-2.
