Yishai Ribon drills the hat trick, Ann Arbor Skyline out defends to get a narrow win

Yishai Ribon scored the game-winning goal with 3:00 left in the third period, as Ann Arbor Skyline won against Jackson 4 - 2 at Yost Ice Arena on Wednesday. Ann Arbor Skyline tallied up two goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Ann Arbor Skyline retained its lead. Both teams scored two goals in the third period but Ann Arbor Skyline kept the lead for the win.

In the first period, Ann Arbor Skyline made it happen on the ice when Yishai Ribon scored an unassisted goal with 2:51 left on the clock. In the third period, Jackson got things going on the ice when Rourke Carroll put the biscuit over the goal line with an assist from Zackery Surber with 7:10 left on the clock for Jackson, bringing the score even. Pounding the defense, Matt Stamler lit the lamp without assistance from team mates with 6:18 left on the clock, to pull ahead for good. Ann Arbor Skyline's Blake Hill put the biscuit over the goal line with 2:00 left in the period. Josh Bourque and Patrick Dahlmann got the assists on the goal, to bring the game to a tie. In the third period, rolling on, Ann Arbor Skyline's Yishai Ribon put the puck in the net with 3:00 left in the period. Josh Bourque got the assist on the goal, to get the lead once and for all. This was the knock out punch for Jackson. In addition, Yishai Ribon put the biscuit over the goal line without any assistance, with 0:56 left in the period, to get further ahead.

Having a huge impact in the game for Ann Arbor Skyline, Yishai Ribon made the hat trick with three goals. Blake Hill added one goal for Ann Arbor Skyline. Josh Bourque got two helpers. Dahlmann contributed one assist for Ann Arbor Skyline.

Rourke Carroll added one goal for Jackson.

Having a standout day, Ann Arbor Skyline's Ethan Hiltner stopped 35 shots to gain the win. Jackson's Jake Waggener stopped 14 out of 18 shots to suffer the loss.

Ann Arbor Skyline ended their streak of two losing games and improved to a record of 5 wins and 10 losses. Jackson suffered their first loss and ended the game with a record of 1 win and 1 loss.
