Adam Stavar rips a goal as Livonia Franklin puts the squeeze on shooters to prevail, breaks string of losses

In a tight contest, Livonia Franklin got the better of Ann Arbor Skyline 4 - 2 at Eddie Edgar on Friday. Livonia Franklin and Ann Arbor Skyline both scored one goal to end the first period tied. Neither team scored in the second period so they continued to be tied. The second period closed with both teams at one goal all. In the last period, the offenses finally got going when Livonia Franklin outscored Ann Arbor Skyline three to one and took the lead to claim the late win.

In the first period, Ann Arbor Skyline made it happen on the ice when Dillon Baker got the unassisted goal, with 12:57 left in the period. Livonia Franklin put points on the board with their game when Josh Dudek put the puck in the net with 11:40 left on the clock. Dylan Smith and Daniel Pedersen assisted on the goal, to bring things to a tie. In the third period, then Daniel Pedersen scored a goal without any assistance, with 14:56 left on the clock, taking the lead and the win. Pushing forward, Livonia Franklin's Mike Diaz got a goal with 12:01 left on the clock. Adam Stavar and Andrew Golem got the assists on the goal, to pull further ahead. Livonia Franklin fired up their game when Adam Stavar scored a goal with an assist from Mike Diaz, with 0:09 left on the clock, pulling further ahead. Ann Arbor Skyline made it happen on the ice when Yishai Ribon put the biscuit over the goal line with assists from Jeremy Bourque and Josh Bourque, with 11:06 left on the clock.

Adam Stavar made one goal for Livonia Franklin and also had one assist. Mike Diaz scored one goal for Livonia Franklin and also had one assist. Daniel Pedersen scored one goal for Livonia Franklin and also had one point. Josh Dudek added one goal for Livonia Franklin. Golem and Smith each added one assist for Livonia Franklin.

Yishai Ribon and Dillon Baker each added one goal for Ann Arbor Skyline.

Livonia Franklin's Sean Dreeves-Corsen had 13 saves on 15 shots for the win. Despite a super performance, Ann Arbor Skyline's Ethan Hiltner stopped 37 shots and got the loss.

Livonia Franklin ended their streak of four losing games and ended the game with a record of 1 win and 4 losses. Ann Arbor Skyline ended the game with a record of 5-11.
