In a tight contest, Livonia Franklin got the better of Ann Arbor Skyline 4 - 2 at Eddie Edgar on Friday. Livonia Franklin and Ann Arbor Skyline both scored one goal to end the first period tied. Neither team scored in the second period so they continued to be tied. The second period closed with both teams at one goal all. In the last period, the offenses finally got going when Livonia Franklin outscored Ann Arbor Skyline three to one and took the lead to claim the late win.

Livonia Franklin fired up their game when Adam Stavar scored a goal with an assist from Mike Diaz, with 0:09 left on the clock, pulling further ahead. Ann Arbor Skyline made it happen on the ice when Yishai Ribon put the biscuit over the goal line with assists from Jeremy Bourque and Josh Bourque, with 11:06 left on the clock.
