Romeo beat Troy Athens 5 - 2 on Friday. Troy Athens scored one goal to take the lead in the first period. In the second, Romeo outscored their opponents by one goal and tied for the lead. The end of the second period saw both teams at two goals all. Romeo took the lead in the third period with three consecutive goals and won the game.

Romeo's H J netted two goals for Romeo. During the second period, with 12:03 left J got a goal with an assist from M P. With 8:55 left to play in the third period J lit the lamp without assistance. Romeo's C G made two goals for Romeo. Making it happen on the ice for Romeo, G put the biscuit over the goal line with 13:07 left in the second period. N G and N G got the assists on this goal. Romeo kept up the momentum when G lit the lamp without assistance from team mates with 9:03 left in the third period.

Romeo's A Goalie stopped 12 shots to gain the win. Troy Athens's Jeff Merola had only 18 saves on 23 shots on goal to get the loss.

Romeo extended their winning streak to three games and ended up with a record of 3-1. Troy Athens finished the game with a record of 4-9.
