Routing their opponents, Reeths-Puffer triumphed over Hudsonville 7 - 1 at Georgetown Ice Arena on Saturday. Reeths-Puffer chalked up two straight goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the second, Reeths-Puffer outscored Hudsonville three to one and kept the lead. It would prove to be too much for Hudsonville. In the final period Reeths-Puffer scored two consecutive goals adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.
Reeths-Puffer's Jeremy Joyce scored two goals for Reeths-Puffer. Curtis Pek, Ryan Compeau, Kyle Kendra, Tom Munroe, and Brandon Young each added one goal for Reeths-Puffer.
Two goalies were used by Reeths-Puffer to get the win. Racking up saves in the box, Reeths-Puffer's Aaron Andrews stopped 13 out of 14 shots to get the win. Having a perfect day, Reeths-Puffer's Jared Erickson had eight saves.
Reeths-Puffer added to their current win streak of 12 games and now has a unblemished record of 14-0. Hudsonville ended the game with a record of 1 win and 3 losses.
