In a tightly contested game, Petoskey prevailed over Cadillac 3 - 2 at Griffin Arena on Friday. Petoskey outscored Cadillac two to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. Petoskey added one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. Cadillac failed to take the lead in the third period even though they scored one goal, and ended up losing the game.

Ben Schwartzfisher, Ken Forton, and Derek Smith each tallied one goal for Petoskey. Davis and Hansen each added one assist for Petoskey.

Turning in a good performance, Tyler Thomas netted two goals for Cadillac.

Petoskey's Breanna Merriam turned away 17 shots for the win.

Petoskey now has a record of 9 wins and 7 losses. Cadillac finished the game with a record of 7 wins and 10 losses.
