Pinckney Loses Close Game Against Hartland 3-2

John Nagel impresses with a goal and Hartland shines on defense to win narrowly, increases winning streak to 6 games

In a close game, Hartland handed a loss to Pinckney 3 - 2 at Arctic Coliseum on Tuesday. Pinckney outscored Hartland two to one to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Pinckney maintained its lead. Pinckney was ahead two to one, but it wasn't to be. Hartland managed to come back with two unanswered goals in the third period to steal the lead and win the game.

Nick Pleshakov scored one goal for Hartland and also had one assist. Brett Bandyk got one goal for Hartland and also two assists. John Nagel added one goal for Hartland. McRae and Beaver each contributed one assist for Hartland.

Contributing to the game for Pinckney, Mark Janiga netted two goals for Pinckney.

Having a standout day, Hartland's Brent Pietila stopped 23 shots to take the win. Pinckney's Brandon Dolan blocked 27 out of 30 shots on goal to suffer the loss.

Hartland added to their current win streak of five games and now has a record of 13-1. Pinckney finished the game with a record of 8-6.
