Blake Hill leads the way with a goal as Ann Arbor Skyline makes forwards' life difficult to get a narrow victory

In a hard fought match up, Ann Arbor Skyline beat Allen Park Cabrini 3 - 1 at Lincoln Park Ice Arena on Wednesday. Ann Arbor Skyline chalked up one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Ann Arbor Skyline maintained its lead. In the third period, the offenses finally got going when Ann Arbor Skyline scored two goal to Allen Park Cabrini's 1 and kept the lead to win the game.

In the first period, Ann Arbor Skyline got things going when Yishai Ribon got a goal with an assist from Jeremy Bourque, with 7:04 left in the period. In the third period, Ann Arbor Skyline pierced the defense when Blake Hill got the puck past goalie Brett Kates with an assist from Jeremy Bourque, with 9:57 left in the period, going further ahead. Ann Arbor Skyline kept up the momentum when Randy Strassburg got the puck past goalie Brett Kates with an assist from Yishai Ribon, with 6:26 left on the clock, expanding their lead. Allen Park Cabrini got points on the board with their power play game when Jacob Mackie put the puck in the net with assists from Bradlet Chavis and Brendan Alvis with 0:44 left in the period.

Yishai Ribon netted one goal for Ann Arbor Skyline and also had one point. Blake Hill and Randy Strassburg each added one goal for Ann Arbor Skyline. Jeremy Bourque had two points.

Jacob Mackie tallied one goal for Allen Park Cabrini.

Having a standout day, Ann Arbor Skyline's Ethan Hiltner had 28 saves to earn the win. Allen Park Cabrini's Brett Kates blocked 23 out of 26 shots on goal and so suffered the loss.

Despite losing Allen Park Cabrini went 1-for-3 on power plays, while Ann Arbor Skyline was 0-for-5.

Allen Park Cabrini ended the game with a record of 0 wins and 3 losses.
