Leaving their opponents in the dust, South Lyon Unified prevailed against Waterford Mott 8 - 1 at Lakeland Arena on Friday. South Lyon Unified outscored Waterford Mott two to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. South Lyon Unified gained six goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Waterford Mott were not able to answer back. With both teams scoreless in the third period, South Lyon Unified held on to its lead, and was the winner.
