Garrett Polish hits two goals, Clarkston allows few shots to squeak by for the win on the road

Joe Smith netted the game-winning goal with 15:13 left in the first period, as Clarkston finished off Lake Orion 5 - 3 at Detroit Skate Club Rink "C" on Saturday. Clarkston chalked up two goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the middle period, Lake Orion outscored their opponents by one goal however Clarkston kept its lead. In the third period, Clarkston outscored Lake Orion two to one and kept the lead to win the game.

Clarkston's Garrett Polish netted two goals for Clarkston and also had one point. Putting their initial points on the board, Polish scored an unassisted goal in the third period. Clarkston turned up the pressure when Polish put the biscuit over the goal line in the third period with assists from Chase Wiedemann and AJ Kowal. Joe Smith, Kyle Hogarth, and Carter Rea each tallied one goal for Clarkston.

Showing a super performance, Clarkston's Jack Viazanko made 28 saves to gain the win.

Clarkston continued their current win streak of four games and now has a record of 10-7. Lake Orion ended the game with a record of 5 wins and 8 losses.
