Billy Karvounis smashes two goals, Macomb Dakota effective on defense to achieve victory on the road, raises string of wins to 17 games

Macomb Dakota handed a loss to Romeo 5 - 2 at Clark Park (Outdoors) on Saturday. Romeo tallied up one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Macomb Dakota added three goals in the second period to jump in to the lead. In the final period, Macomb Dakota scored two goal to Romeo's 1 and kept the lead to win the game.

Macomb Dakota's Billy Karvounis scored two goals for Macomb Dakota. Putting a first goal on the board, Karvounis Karvounis got a goal with assists from Austin Swanson and Austin Azzopardi. Piercing though the defense, Karvounis Karvounis scored another goal. Marc DiGrande got the assist on this goal. Austin Azzopardi, Sammy Shaheen, and Chad Roskelly each added one goal for Macomb Dakota.

Macomb Dakota used two goaltenders in their win. Showing off a strong glove, Macomb Dakota's Anthony Benvenuti stopped 14 out of 15 shots to earn the win. Racking up saves in the box, Macomb Dakota's Justin Dudzinski blocked 11 out of 12 shots on goal. Romeo's A Goalie had only 26 saves on 31 shots on goal to get the loss.

Macomb Dakota added to their current win streak of 16 games and ended up with a perfect record of 17 wins and 0 losses. Romeo ended the game with a record of 4-2.
