In a tightly contested game, Alpena defeated Cadillac 3 - 2 at Cadillac - Wexford Cty Civic Center on Friday. Neither team managed to put points on the board in the first period. In the middle period, with defenses wearing down, Alpena scored two goals to Cadillac's one and took the lead. Both teams scored one goal in the third period but Alpena kept the lead for the win.

Tyler Thomas and Sam Denman each added one goal for Cadillac.

Cadillac's PJ Nemish had 22 saves on 25 shots and so suffered the loss.

Cadillac finished the game with a record of 8-10.
