Leaving their opponents in the dust, Freeland/Nouvel/Valley beat Flint Kearsley 7 - 1 at Peranis Arena on Wednesday. Freeland/Nouvel/Valley racked up three goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Both teams tallied up one goal in the second period but Freeland/Nouvel/Valley held on to the lead for the win. The Freeland/Nouvel/Valley defense took over in the final period. In the final period Freeland/Nouvel/Valley scored three goals adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

Leading the scoring for Freeland/Nouvel/Valley, Josh Koepplinger made the hat trick with five goals. Nathan Spencer and Joe Rybicki each added one goal for Freeland/Nouvel/Valley.

Leading the way for Freeland/Nouvel/Valley, Brandon Hausbeck turned away 11 shots to get the win.
