Alex Schlueter golden with a goal while Oxford allows few shots to win narrowly

In a tight contest, Oxford overcame Detroit Country Day 3 - 2 at Rochester Onyx on Wednesday. Neither team got the puck past the goalie in the first period. Detroit Country Day took the lead in the second period with one unanswered goal. Detroit Country Day was up one to zero, but the final period would turn the tables on them. In the last period, Oxford outscored Detroit Country Day three to one and took away the lead to snatch the win.

Alex Schlueter, Cody Wright, and Brennen Orr each tallied one goal for Oxford. Connor Novack got two helpers. Wallington, Isakson, Buday, and Schnettler each contributed one assist for Oxford.

Leading the way for Oxford, Adam Pardonoff had 35 saves on 37 shots for the win.

Oxford continued their current win streak of two games and ended up with a record of 9-7. Detroit Country Day finished the game with a record of 6-2.
