In a hard fought match up, Mona Shores beat Rockford 4 - 2 at LC Walker Ice Arena on Wednesday. Rockford scored one goal to take the lead in the first period. In the second, Mona Shores outscored their opponents by three goals and took away the lead. Rockford were not able to answer back. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Mona Shores held on to its lead, and was the winner.

Nate Rozegnal and Trevor Mills each contributed one goal for Rockford.
