Grand Blanc Beats Flushing 7-6 In Overtime

JACK CLARY is leader with the hat trick, Grand Blanc scores go ahead goal in overtime to prevail in the end

JACK CLARY scored the game-winning goal with 9:10 left in overtime, as Grand Blanc triumphed over Flushing 7 - 6 at Polar Palace in Lapeer on Saturday. Flushing tallied up one goal to take the lead in the first period. In the second period, Grand Blanc scored four goals to Flushing's one and took away the lead. In the third period, Flushing outscored Grand Blanc 4 to 2 to tie things up and send the game into OT. In the overtime, Grand Blanc scored one unanswered goal winning the tight contest.

Leading the way to a win for Grand Blanc, JACK CLARY got the hat trick with three goals as well as two helpers. Making it happen on the ice for Grand Blanc, CLARY CLARY netted a goal. GABE NEIL got the assist on this goal. Then CLARY put the puck in the net in the second period. GRAHAM JACKETT and ALEX PORTER assisted on this goal. This cemented Grand Blanc's win. During the third period, CLARY scored another goal. LOGAN ROTHLEY and ALEX PORTER assisted on this goal. TIM HASSELBACH, GABE NEIL, JASON STENQUIST, and MASON WALKER each added one goal for Grand Blanc.

Two goalies were in the crease for Grand Blanc's win. In the crease, Grand Blanc's PHILIPPE BENCHLEY got no saves. In the crease, Grand Blanc's MITCH BEHM had zero saves.

Grand Blanc extended their winning streak to four games and now has a record of 5-2. Flushing ended the game with a record of 0-2.
